I am so pleased with the results of the crème that I tell everyone I can about it. How does Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème work?

Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème increases proteins (collagen) to reinforce weak skin and change the appearance of stretch marks. The crème helps to undo the weakness associated with stretch marks. After four weeks of continued use, the crème fades stretch mark redness and whiteness, smoothes out ridges, and strengthens and thickens surrounding skin. The crème may also prevent future stretch marks from pregnancy and weight changes by keeping the skin supple.

How and where do I apply the crème?

Twice a day, gently rub the crème into the skin. Please note that if you are a first time user, you should only apply the crème to a small test area to check for results. After 4 to 6 weeks, initial results should be visible.

Tip: Some users have found that the use of an exfoliating scrub (while bathing) improves the penetration of the crème into the skin. Other clients have told us that they have had faster results by applying the crème to the skin and leaving it there for five minutes before rubbing it in.

How long does it take to see results?

For most users, it takes from 4 to 6 weeks to regenerate the weakened skin and see results. Some clients have seen results after only a few days, but on average, it takes at least a month.

Will my stretch marks disappear completely?

It is not possible to completely remove stretch marks because they are essentially small scars of torn skin. It is possible, however, for the ridges to smooth out and the associated redness or whiteness to fade to the point that they are hardly visible.

Does it matter how old my stretch marks are?

Stretch marks that are less than 7 years old are more sensitive to Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème, but the crème still works on older stretch marks. These older marks will need a longer application, so if you have had your stretch marks for more than seven years, we recommend that you wait at least 6 weeks before expecting to see results.

Why is the clinical study important?

There are many products on the market today that supposedly treat stretch marks. The clinical study proves the effectiveness of Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème in treating stretch marks. You should not trust a product that does not have scientific support of its effectiveness.

When should I stop using the crème?

Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème continues to improve stretch marks with extended use. The results you have with the crème are permanent; stopping its application will not undo the improvement. Some of our customers have seen continued improvement after using Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème for more than a year. We therefore recommend that you continue to use the crème until you see no further improvement in the appearance of your stretch marks.

Are there any side effects?

No. Many clients have found that their skin becomes smoother because of the moisturizing elements in the crème. In a few cases, stretch marks may appear more red after the first few days of use. Dr. Moy believes that this initial redness/reaction signals an active circulation in the damaged area and the start of the regeneration process. Therefore, it is not necessary to cease application if this occurs. We use only natural and botanical ingredients, so users should not experience an allergic reaction.

Does the crème help scars or wrinkles?

Satisfied customers have indicated that new surgical scars have improved with the use of the crème. Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème can remove some of the redness of new scars if it is applied shortly after the wound heals. Some clients have also reported success using the crème to remove small wrinkles.

Patient Improvement with Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème 
After 6 Weeks of Use

•  40 patients applied the crème to one side of the body (focused on the thigh and buttock).
•  Patients also applied a control cream to the other side of body.
•  Evaluations were scaled for mild, moderate, and marked improvement in the stretch marks.

  Blinded Evaluation of Striae^®StretchMarkCrème

•  20 patients applied the crème to one side of the body.

•  A control cream was applied to the other side of the body.

•  Evaluations were made by a skin professional with no knowledge of which side had been treated with the active crème.

•  The skin professional correctly identified the treated area 95% of the time.

 Improvements in the Characteristics of Stretch Marks

•  Patients were evaluated for improvement in various parameters of stretch marks.

•  Parameters: overall improvement, redness, hypopigmentation, hyperpigmentation, and ridging.

•  The crème was applied for 6 weeks.
  

• RESULTS                  

  The study evaluated the consequences of applying Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème with Regenetrol Complex^® to the stretch marks on each patient. Table I shows that the majority of the patients (80%) had some measurable improvement in their stretch marks. Out of the 40 patients studied, 45% had mild improvement, 25% had moderate improvement, and 10% had marked improvement. Table II, reflects improvement in the specific characteristics of stretch marks. The erythema and hypo pigmentation improved most dramatically with a 72% response. The hyper pigmentation improved at 56% and the ridging had 40% improvement. Table III shows that the blinded evaluator was able to choose the correct treated, active cream side on 95% of the patients.

  

  CONCLUSION                   

  The study demonstrated the efficacy of Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème with Regenetrol Complex^®. 80% of the patients demonstrated an improvement in the appearance of their stretch marks. Although many of the patients had mild to moderate effects, the results showed promise because of the short duration of treatment (6 weeks). A number of patients had measurable improvement in 2-4 weeks, and, in addition, many of the patients showed progressive, dramatic improvement with additional weeks of treatment.

  The improvement in all of the stretch marks' characteristics from Table II is very promising for Regenetrol Complex^®. This conclusively points to a specific action on stretch marks that can improve all facets of the lesions. In a short 6 week study, dramatic improvement in the lesions' erythema and hypo pigmentation would be expected. The ridging effect would correlate with the deepest histologic effect and would continue to improve with continued therapy. However, in 6 weeks, it would not be expected to be the most consistent response. The blinded evaluator response was performed to ensure the quality of the products and ensure that the control cream was not giving a similar response to the active cream. Clearly, there is a visual difference that can be examined with the clinical improvement that Regenetrol Complex^® has on the skin.

  In conclusion, Striae^® Stretch Mark Crème with Regenetrol Complex^® is the first known product ever studied that has definitely improved the appearance of stretch marks in a short, double-blinded clinical study with specific improvement in the basic clinical characteristics of the stretch marks.
